Dumpster and Recycle Day
Got junk you’ve been meaning to recycle — or just heave-ho? Load up the car and drive away lighter at this year’s community Dumpster and Recycle Day.
Arbor Lodge Park
North Delaware Ave. between North Saratoga Street and North Dekum Street
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”- Drive up: head to the Collection Check-In on North Saratoga Street just before North Delaware Avenue, at Arbor Lodge Park.
- Make your donation: $20 per vehicle, paid by cash, PayPal, or Venmo. Additional donations are appreciated.
- Let us do the work: stay in your vehicle — a crew of volunteers unloads your items and places them in the right bins.
- Everything else: anything that can’t be recycled or repurposed goes into one of the garbage dumpsters on site.
On-site partners help keep items out of the landfill:
- Metal recycling
- Household goods donated to support our homeless neighbors
- Electronics recycling
- Styrofoam recycling (10:00am – 2:00pm)
About the Event
Section titled “About the Event”This is a collaboration between four Neighborhood Associations: Arbor Lodge, Kenton, Overlook and Piedmont, and is made possible by donations from METRO, our Sponsors and Neighbors like you!
Your donations help raise the money needed to run this event again next year. Any extra money raised is split between the neighborhoods to support other community-centered events in those neighborhoods.
